Prevent Bathroom Accidents on Toddler

All toddlers loves to playing water, and bathrooms become one of their favorite place to play. Make sure your bathroom become a safe place for toddlers to play, because your bathroom can be the most dangerous place for your kids.

 Follow these tips to prevent bathroom accident on your toddlers:

Choose the right stuff

Choose bathroom  tile for floor which is not slippery, and avoid sharp corners that could potentially being harm if something unexpected happens.Choose the right mat, choose a mat that is attached to the floor so that your toddler do not slipping when stepped on it.

Keep away from children

Electrical appliances such as electric shavers and hair dryers should really be in secured placement from children. We recommend that when it not in use, make sure the electronic items were unplug, for avoid your children from electric shock. Remember, water is a good conductor of electricity, and can endanger the whole family.

Put a lock or install a latch that difficult to open by your kids on a closet or drawer that containing toothpaste, cosmetics and mouthwash.Keep vitamins and drugs with or without prescription far away from your children reach or store it in a locked cabinet.

Appropriate placement

 Placement of bathroom fixtures such as bath up, shower, closet, shower and so on should be arranged in such a way that does not make it an accident-prone area. Do not forget to keep a spare key of bathroom doors, prepare if they are locked in it.

Attach the door handle higher and keep the bathroom locked if do not use it. This prevents toddlers came in bathroom and climb bath up. Because when hanging on the tub, they can suddenly slip, falls, and drowning.

Set the water heat

 Set the water heater temperature no more than 49 degrees Celsius. Lower temperatures safer for children and prevent the risk of fire and burn.
